Review | China Southern Open Day Visit

Last week, AustCham South China has collaborated with our platinum member China Southern to host an unique open day experience to our Shenzhen members and guests. The open day aims to showcase the corporate culture of China Southern as well as the monthly event committee meeting of AustCham, to demonstrate to our audiences that how their opinions help to shape the future events of AustCham South China.

The event kicked off with a brief presentation of China Southern. Mr. LI YU, Deputy Director of Sales & Marketing Deparment, has welcomed all guests to this special event, followed by a general introduction of China Southern Shenzhen branch, which is also the biggest branch of China Southern. Then, the summer promotion has been highlighted with a very competitive price of minimum 3000 RMB for a round trip to major cities of Australia. Meanwhile, China Southern offers some complimentary services including local airport pick-up service, E-travel service and corporate discounted price to help their guests enjoy better trips.

Later on the AustCham Shenzhen Committee Meeting started a round-table introduction to help guests know other participants better. The participants covered different key industries of Australia including Food & Beverage, Tourism, Hospitality, Education, E-Commerce , etc.  Also,  Goeff Matthews, the Consul (Political ad Economic) of Australian Consulate-General Guangzhou, and Charlene Liu from Austrade have shown their support from the Australian government side.

During the meeting, the guests showed their appreciation of how AustCham’s networking events help them to develop real business opportunities. Also, Kelly Xie, Board of Director of AustCham based in Guangzhou, spoke very highly of the democratic atmosphere of the Shenzhen Committee Meeting.

After the meeting, on the 1st floor of China Southern building, all our guests enjoyed an exciting real-size cabin stmulator visit as well as some delicious afternoon tea.

In the end, the Open Day of China Southern Shenzhen Branch and of AustCham Shenzhen Committee Meeting was a great success. We look forward to seeing all the familiars faces in our next Shenzhen event.
