AustCham South China is hosting a Young Professionals Networking event in collaboration with ACAA, ACYA and ACYPI on Friday 27th of November at Jojo’s Riverside Guangzhou. It is set to be fantastic evening with free flow drinks and mini buffet for three hours included in your ticket price.

Our guest speaker for the night is Prem Thanabalasingam, where he will be sharing his wealth of knowledge on technological issues gained from an illustrious career in software and recruitment in both Australia and South China.

Prem Thanabalasingam is The China Head of software delivery for HSBC Foreign Exchange and Fixed Income. A graduate of the London School of Economics, he has lived in Guangzhou for 4 years. Responsible for over 300 developers, the division delivers cutting edge technology for all trading and risk management. The software development centre in Guangzhou has grown in size as well as skill to deliver global solutions. From a skills perspective we actively hire Australian graduates and are always looking for culture disruptors.
