Harvesting a full attendance at the Wanda Vista Dongguan, AustCham South China recently hosted its first ever event in Dongguan. With the assistance of the Australian Consulate-General in Guangzhou, AustCham hosted a briefing on the China-Australia Free Trade Agreement (ChAFTA) presented by Austrade’s Trade Commissioner, Anna Lin, and Consul (Political/ Economic), Chris Yost. Followed by Q&A and networking drinks, this was a great opportunity for members of AustCham South China to learn more about this landmark agreement and meet other businesses that are a poised to benefit from emerging opportunities.
The opportunities presented by the landmark China-Australia Free Trade Agreement are increasingly relevant within our membership and this event was a great opportunity for AustCham members to gain further insights into emerging opportunities for Australian business in South China.
