Streamlined by AustCham Beijing’s Industry Forums, AustCham South China’s Trading, Manufacturing, and Sourcing Sector aims to work for and promote the interests of Austcham members directly involved in or related to the trading, manufacturing, or sourcing industries.
Trading, Manufacturing, and Sourcing Sector Objectives:
- To leverage South China’s extensive trading, manufacturing, and sourcing network, in order to create connections between members in related industries and different stages of the supply chain
- To communicate with and receive feedback from a diverse range of trading, manufacturing, and sourcing-related companies engaged in South China in order to gain an in-depth understanding of their interests and needs, and applying this information towards developing a long-term approach to facilitate their interests
- To create the platform for communication within industries, in order to promote the collection and dissemination of industry-specific information
Austcham South China has a wide range of members involved in different stages of the supply chain. Specific industries include food and beverages, shipping, raw materials, textiles, and electronics.
In order to accomplish the objectives above, the Trading, Manufacturing, and Sourcing Sector hosts regular industry-specific events, promotes industry fairs, and shares industry news (including talking points and online resources) with members.
