Sydney and Guangzhou are celebrating their 30 year sister relationship this year in Guangzhou. As part of the sister city relationship celebrations, the Australia China Business Council, China Council of Promotion of International Trade, AustCham South China are hosting a Guangzhou – Sydney Business Summit on June 1. Relevant companies are warmly invited to express their interest to attend.
Mr.Clover Moore – the mayor of Sydney and Mr.Wen Guohui – the mayor of Guangzhou will make a welcome speech for this summit. Hosting around 240 attendees from both cities, the conference will highlight strengths and synergies between the cities and assist businesses in exploring opportunities for new partnerships in trade and investment. Drawing on successful business case studies and featuring expert panel discussions, the summit will demonstrate how trade between the two cities can increase global competiveness.
The conference will be organized into three themes:
Green: sustainable business practices and opportunities for partnerships with products and services supporting sustainability.
Global: the City of Sydney and the City of Guangzhou’s roles as global hubs for business, trade and investment.
Connected: a business matching session for City of Sydney and City of Guangzhou businesses.
