On Wednesday 26th of October, Scottish Pacific Tradeline hosted this Annual Trade Fair Cocktail Evening, celebrating the 120th Canton Fair. As a AustCham partner event, there was an informative and enjoyable agenda scheduled for our 50+ guests, including a special guest speaker Liam Thomas from World First Foreign Exchange and a presentation from Scottish Pacific’s Head of International Finance, Craig Michie. Liam delivered a presentation on “The Future of Global Trade” incorporating Change in Foreign Exchange in China and E-Commerce and Online Trading, with Craig focusing on the changes and enhancements within Scottish Pacific Group during the last year.
Tradeline China representative Millie Qiu arranged and hosted the evening, ensuring guests were well fed and enjoying themselves. Well known Guangzhou band “Peacock Blue” entertained guests with soulful renditions of Western Pop songs including Maroon 5 and Adele. All of this took place in the lovely Garden Hotel Guangzhou, with a large selection of drinks and more than enough food! Scottish Pacific would like to thank all attendees for making this a memorable evening, and look forward to welcoming even more guests next year.
