The Interwine expo wrapped up today and what an expo! Our Deputy Consul-General Paul Sanda cut the ribbon and officially opened China’s largest wine expo for its twelfth year, symbolic of the importance that Australia places in is wine industry.
Thanks to Rita Jia for inviting AustCham and to everyone who came down and visited us at our booth. We were there championing Australian premium wines by showcasing some of our members, including Pran Wines, the Wine People, and OZ Wine Club. We also had a visit from Aussie entrepreneur Sam Sheehan introducing his device WineMinder, which utilises technology to provide cellar solutions.
Another highlight was getting some industry insights from Wine Master James Halliday, who is a living legend in the art of wine making. A great effort from the team in supporting one of Australia’s most important industries. Until next time Interwine, cheers!
