Chuan has been involved in Australia-China trade and business for over a decade, with experience in both leadership roles within the Australian Chamber of Commerce and the private sector. He has served as Treasurer and Secretary on the Chamber’s Board of Directors and held positions within the Secretariat, contributing to the Chamber’s operations and administration.
Chuan currently manages a small commodity trading business focused on trade between China, ASEAN, and Australia. The business reported an annual revenue of over USD 25 million in the 2023–24 financial year.
With a professional background in trade and an established network in the Australia-China space, Chuan brings experience and practical knowledge relevant to the Chamber’s activities.
