November 4th | WINE DINNER: Journey from Adelaide to Cape Town!

The Wine People, The Westin Shenzhen Nanshan and AustCham invite you to join them for a unique evening exploring award winning wines from the stunning vineyards of Haselgrove Wine Estate in Adelaide, Australia, (James Halliday Dark Horse Winery of the Year 2016) and Asara Wine Estate in Cape Town, South Africa.
Pete Gottgens, Estate Manager at Asara, will be guiding guests through the flight of wines and discussing the differences between the winemaking styles of these two unique countries and wine regions. He has worked in hospitality for over 35 years and previously cooked for guests such as Nelson Mandela, Bill Clinton, The Queen and Tony Blair.
The evening’s wines will also be expertly paired with an exquisite 4 course meal created by Australian Chef Paul Dodd, who will talk about the menu and the process of dry aging Australian Striploin.
