Last Wednesday 13th of March, the Australian Consulate, AustCham South China, ACAA and Austrade, presented the “New Trends in Digital Marketing” Event at the Park Hyatt. The four leading female entrepreneurs that sat on the panel, explained through factual information, statistics and anecdotes, the current situation of global e-commerce and how to practice Digital Marketing. Geoff Matthews, Consul (Political/Economic) at the Australian Consulate-General Guangzhou, moderated this highly satisfying panel discussion with great enthusiasm.
Holly Ransom, a High Profile Australian entrepreneur, demonstrated that Digital Marketing is constantly evolving through business, political and social influences. While Frances Wen, Country Manager (Greater China) for Pharmacare, focused mainly on the new Chinese consumer’s generations. Carmen Zhao, General Manager of Digital Crew, highlighted her strong beliefs in the accessibility of the Chinese market for foreign companies. At the same time, she resolutely stands behind a flexible and strategic plan for the long-term.
Last but not least, Liza Chen, Director of AdMaster, analyzed her market researches & strategies through Big Data. With Carmen Zhao, she agreed that in order to customize digital plans and have achievable results, the right insight and right focus are the keys.
During the discussion, the four speakers agreed on the fact that KOL (Key Opinion Leaders) are the new promising trend of Digital Marketing as a tool, an influential resource to improve the scale of marketing reach across China and abroad.
